We bid farewell to Gary Allen Blackman of Garden Prairie, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 30, 2025 at the age of 77. Gary Allen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dorothy Blackman and Warren Blackman; his wife Shelba Blackman (Knutson); his daughters, Cammi Gates (Chris) and Trina Morgan (Travis); his grandchildren, Andrew Gates (Kate), Abby Gates, Brady Morgan and Bennett Morgan; his great grandchild Graham Gates; and his daughter Angela. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Anderson Funeral Home (218 W Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Catholic Church (402 Church St, Belvidere, IL 61008).
