He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Nelson of Gardner; his children, Kimberly McConahay, Jason Nelson (Nikki) and Kaylin Nelson; his grandchildren, Cody Nelson, Austin McConahay, Declan McConahay, Madeline McConahay, Dylan Nelson, Brianna Nelson, Andrew Nelson, Colton Ballenger, Caiden Nelson, Nekaylee Nelson-Smith and Kimari Nelson-Smith; his great grandchildren, Roselynn McClusky, Austin Nelson, Tazzlynn Nelson and Lazarus Curtis; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Nelson (late David), Donna Kay Kirkpatrick (late Jimmie), Penny Baron (Mike) and Holly Jones (late Ethan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
