We are sad to announce that on October 16, 2025, at the age of 77, John Harley Airgood of Gardner, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Airgood and Marie Airgood; his siblings, Gene, Jim and Jacquelyn; and his son Dwayne Magers.
He is survived by: his wife Gwen Andersen; his children, Michael Airgood of South Wilmington, IL, Dawn Edwards (Shawn) of Kempton, IL and Jennifer Hadra of Mount Carmel, IL.; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Lily, Rose Edwards, Austin, Alanya Airgood, Troy, Chad, Emma Magers and Dawson Grisham; his great grandchildren, Elijah and Ophelia Magers; his sister Judy Airgood of Chicago, IL; and his close friends, John Hill and Dean Rankovich.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the R. W. Patterson Funeral Home (401 E Main St, Braidwood, IL 60408).
