Marjorie Mahler Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marjorie Mahler of Gardner, Illinois, born in Kankakee, Illinois, who passed away on March 27, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward Malek and Vivian Malek (McComb); her husband Harold "Fuzz" Mahler; her son Robert Craig Mahler; her son-in-law David Morecraft; and her grandson-in-law Richard Reese.

She is survived by : her children, Verna Sue Morecraft of Gardner and Richard Scott Mahler of Manteno, Illinois; her grandchildren, Margaret Shuck (Tom), Michelle Reese, Michael Morecraft (Diana), Marlene Woodward (Mark) and Stephanie Mahler; and her siblings, Pat Farrer (Don) of Lemont, Deborah Kratochvil (James) of Gardner and William Malek (Faye Lynn) of Lakeview. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Margie's memory to the Church of Hope in Gardner.
