He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Charles, Sr., Marian Janulis and Larry Yates, Sr.; his uncle Rob Maier, Jr.; his cousins, Jennefir Weir and Mike Flores; his pet Rigby; and also Robert Maier Sr..
He is survived by: his parents, Larry Yates and Jean Yates (Janulis) of Springville, Tennessee.; his siblings, Brandon Yates, Kristina Demere and Tara Yates; his niece Jeanette Demere; and his grandmother Lorna Zemar (Jim Zemar). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
