She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrtle Specht and Charles Specht; her husband Carl Cochran; her sister Donna Hamilton; her brother-in-law Robert Hamilton; and her great great grandchild Beckett Nauman.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Cochran of Geneseo, Pamela Littig (Dave) of Geneseo and Susan Cochran of Coal Valley; her grandchildren, Dawn Dunbar (Mike), Dennis Johnson (Kim Ringberg), Justin Cochran, Brandon Cochran and Katie Cochran (John Lee); her stepgrandson Andrew Dunbar (Elisa); her great grandchildren, Paige Cochran, Mackenzie Nauman (Nick), Kyler Rusk (Elaina), Madison Wancket, Kristopher Dunbar (Brynlee), Nathan Johnson (Danielle), Zach Johnson, Lexi Johnson, Eleanor Lee and Robby Lee; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Nadia Dunbar and David Dunbar; her great great grandchild Abrea Dunbar; her brother Kenny Specht (Mary Ann) of Fort Mills; and her sister-in-law Kathy Higgins. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory - Geneseo (580 E Ogden Ave, Geneseo, IL 61254). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vandemore Funeral Home - Geneseo (580 E Ogden Ave, Geneseo, IL 61254). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Malachy Catholic Church (595 E Ogden Ave, Geneseo, IL 61254).
Memorials may be directed to St. Malachy Catholic Church and Bishop Hill Quilt Club, in honor of Arlene.
