With sadness, we share the passing of Donna DeBel of Geneseo, Illinois. Donna, born on May 9, 1939, passed away on September 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Donna for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Zobrist and Hellen Zobrist (VanDeWalle); and her husband Montrae P. DeBel. She is survived by: her children, Michelle Tiffenback of Altona, IL and Monte Paul DeBel (Lisa) of San Diego, CA; her granddaughter Mandi Miller (Steve) of Moline, IL; her great grandchildren, Clayton and Emma Miller of Moline; her great great grandchild Blakely Miller; and her sister-in-law Janet Zobrist of Colona, IL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 4:30 PM at the Vandemore Funeral Home - Geneseo (580 E Ogden Ave, Geneseo, IL 61254). Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (201 1st St, Colona, IL 61241).
