She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Kane and Anna Kane (Raschke); her husband Stanley Erdman of Geneseo; and her brothers, Arthur and Maurice Kane.
She is survived by: her son Mark Erdman of Geneseo; and her sibling's children, Cyndee Marciniak (Michael) of Darien, IL, Marcia Treinen of Geneseo, IL, Jim Kane (Barbara) of Peoria, IL and Jerry Kane (Marjorie) of Crofton, MD.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vandemore Funeral Home – Geneseo Chapel (580 E Ogden Ave, Geneseo, IL 61254). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Concordia Lutheran Church (316 S Oakwood Ave, Geneseo, IL 61254).
Her contributions to Geneseo were many: she assisted men registering for the draft in 1942, was a dedicated employee at Belanger Farm Equipment for decades, Photographic Arts Studio, the Blue & White Ice Cream Store, and faithfully taught Sunday school.
