He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Ernst and Gwendolyn Ernst (Allen); his wife Patricia Smith; his grandson Seth Ernst; his sister Aleta Dean; and his brother-in-law Curt Kepping.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Erica Stralow (Nathan), Megan VerStraete (Shane), Shawn Kepner (Kristen) and Stacey Campbell (Travis); and his great grandchildren, Cora, Seth, Noah, Luke, Will, Drake, Kennady, Karleigh, Charleigh and Lorenzo.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be direcetd to the Allen Ernst Memorial Fund.
