We announce the death of Gertie Vineyard of Geneseo, Illinois, who passed away on July 1, 2026, at the age of 91. Gertie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrtle Waymack (Carrington) and Oscar "Loney" Waymack; and her siblings, Mack Waymack, Lorene, Barrentine, Alcidean "Scooter" Johnson, Natalie Goforth, Verlene Williamson (Charlie Waymack), Mary Beth Waymack (Odis Waymack) and Louise Williams (Gene Waymack).

She is survived by: her husband Bill; her daughter Cindy Frisk (Dennis); her grandson Curt Frisk; her daughter Stephanie Rickman (Rodger); her grandson Royce Rickman (Jen); her great grandchildren, Brock and Bryli Rickman; her grandson David Rickman; her sons, James Vineyard (Robyn) and Billy Vineyard (Teresa); her grandson Grant Vineyard; her siblings, Jerry Waymack, Ron Waymack (Carma) and Ann Gilliam (Robert); and her caregivers, Megan and Amber.
