He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond DeMay and Sue DeMay (Simkins); his siblings, Lorie and Todd DeMay; and his parents-in-law, Joe and Patricia Peterson.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Dean (Adam) of Geneseo and Payton DeMay (Veronique) of Youngsville, NC; his stepsons, Brandon Cartwright (Amelia) of Walnut, IL and Chase Cartwright (Sarah) of Wauwatosa, WI; his siblings, Lynette Wignall (Mike) of Cambridge and Troy DeMay (Loretta Burris) of Davenport, IA; his siblings-in-law, Amanda Varland (Mark) of Marseilles, IL and Stephen Peterson (Amy) of Wyanet; his godson Beau Neece (Tori) of Oakland, MD; his niece Stormie Wancket of Atkinson; his grandchildren, Axel and Aura Cartwright of Walnut, IL; and his close friends, Wayne, Theresa Peterson of Geneseo and Paul Flynn of Winchester, VA. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorials may be made to Kingswood Church, Geneseo; the Geneseo High School Career and Technical Education Center; Serenity Home and Hospice Center; or to the donor's choosing.
