With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce Geiger of Geneseo, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 5, 2026 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Darrell Rakestraw and Hazel Rakestraw (Gradert); her husband Robert Klemm; her brother Duane Rakestraw; her sister-in-law Shirley Rakestraw; her daughter-in-law Barb Klemm; and her nephews, Danny Rakestraw and Dave Rakestraw.

She is survived by: her children, William Klemm of Chatham, IL, Tom Geiger of Rock Island, IL, Kenneth Geiger (Paula) of Port Byron, IL, Linda Kerker of Geneseo, IL and Cynthia Hughes (William Davis) of Mt. Gilead, NC; and her grandchildren, Scott Kerker (Annika) of Orion, IL, Karen White (John) of Colona, IL, Kellie White (William) of Geneseo, IL, Heather Fieser (Scott) of Wildwood, MO, Heidi Klemm (Daniel Sheehan) of Chatham, IL, Travis Morgan of Mt Gilead, NC, Chelsey Morgan of Mt Gilead, NC, Alexandra Gooding of Sycamore, IL and Scottie Sullivan of Colona, IL. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
