She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Wirth and Frances Wirth (Buysse); her husband Darrell Swanson; and her sons, Steven and Scott Swanson.

She is survived by: her child Terry Swanson (Carol) of Bonham, TX; her grandchildren, Tabatha Keeler, Scarlett Ledbetter, Brandi Russell and Austin Swanson; her brother Lyle Wirth (Sally) of Geneseo, IL; her nieces, Michelle Cutlip, Brenda Pardoe and Jill Ranes; and her great grandchildren, Weston Russell and Cooper Keeler.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Norma Swanson Memorial Fund.
