She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Reschke and Irene Reschke (VerCruysse); her husband James Swanson; her sons, Peter and David Swanson; her sister Jean Dickey; her granddaughter Decnie Reschke; and her great grandchildren, Olivia and Asher DeBouver.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Swanson Shaw (Bill Kincaid), Martin J. Swanson (Janet Morissette Swanson), James J. Swanson, Susan Swanson, Tad Swanson and Kirsten Swanson Velasco (Michael); and her siblings, Alfred Reschke Jr., Karen Dickey and Marie Swietek (Rick). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Vandemore Funeral Home - Geneseo (580 E Ogden Ave, Geneseo, IL 61254). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Rutabaga Art of Geneseo.
