With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Ann Griffin of Geneseo, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rene Emmerson and Anez Emmerson (Franck). She is survived by: her husband Stan Griffin; her children, Brenn DeBlick (Julianna), Anne Speer (John) and Joanna Neumann (Garrett); her siblings, Steve Emmerson (Sue) and Shirley Hurt (Sam); and her grandchildren, Elanor, Ellaine, Sally, Ryker and Vance.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vandemore Funeral Home - Geneseo (580 E Ogden Ave, Geneseo, IL 61254). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Malachy Catholic Church (595 E Ogden Ave, Geneseo, IL 61254).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
