It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Johnson of Geneseo, Illinois, who passed away on November 7, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hanan Wigant and Martha Wigant (Bismark); her husband Harley A. Johnson; her grandson Anthony Johnson; her sister Janice Chamberlain; and her nephews, Randy and Kevin Chamberlain.

She is survived by: her children, Steven A. Johnson of DeKalb, Lynette Johnson of Geneseo, Joleene Fluegel (Rich) of Geneseo and Vanessa Tarkington (Todd) of Geneseo; her grandchildren, Dee Buttgen (Tom), Christopher Johnson, Travis DeSplinter (Meagan), Keith DeSplinter (Dennale Yarbrough), Tanner and Tucker Tarkington; and her nieces, Christine Mohler and Beth Breezley. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren.
