We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Amy (Holbo) Newkirk in Geneva, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by : her son Garrett; and her mother Marjorie. She is survived by : her daughter Reilly; her husband Randy; her father Lyle Holbo; her sisters, Jennifer Meyer (Shawn) and Carrie Holbo; her nieces and nephews, Gavin, Lily, Maddie, Evan and Allison; her parents-in-law, Penny and David Newkirk; and her sister-in-law Penny. She is also survived by children and family and precious friends.
They held each other close through nearly three years of treatments–they all fought the disease with her, with support from heroic nurses and doctors both in Chicago and Saint Croix, USVI, where the family found a home away from home and a break from the daily battles of both cancer and Covid.
