He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Wernli and Gladys Wernli; his sisters, Roberta Scott (Leonard) and Phyllis Scott (Melvin); his son-in-law John Kirk Jr.; and his grandson Dustin Villarreal.
He is survived by : his wife Ginger Wernli; his daughters, Jena Villarreal (Dave), Joy Harper (Bob), Janelle Schuppner and Jamie Harmon (Derek); his grandchildren, David Villarreal II, Jessica Wernli, Jeremy Wernli (Drea) and Jazmine Wernli (Dylan Bainter); his great grandchild Remi Joy; his grandchildren, Hannah Schuppner (Adam Stekala), Kaleb Schuppner (Isabelle Davis) and Brittany Agans (Jeremy); his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Bryson, Harmony and Elias; his grandsons, Noah Harmon (Shelby), Elijah Kirk and Alexander Harmon; his sister Carol Meier; and his sister-in-law BJ Smith Hetherington.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Bernie's name.
