He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Cassius and Irene Elizabeth Stoney (Schmidt). He is survived by: his wife Judith Raber; his daughters, Cheryl Mora (Michael), Laura Stoney (Richard Weichenhain) and Elizabeth Schield (David); his grandchildren, Zachary Neumann, Jacob Neumann, Samantha Neumann, Bradley Mora, Cassandra Mora (Stephen Patterson), Liam Gardiner (Olivia), Declan Gardiner, Addison Schield, Hailey Schield and Payton Schield; his great grandchild Blayke Gardiner; and his sister Ruth Irene Birkholz. He is also survived by his three granddaughters, great-granddaughter and two bonus granddaughters.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Moss-Norris Funeral Home (100 S 3rd St, St. Charles, IL 60174). A memorial service was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Moss Family Funeral Home (100 S 3rd St, St. Charles, IL 60174).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Cal's memory may be made to Berea College, the first integrated, co-educational college in the South, which has not charged students tuition since 1892.
