It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John A. Peterson (Geneva, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 11, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Alvar Peterson and Gertrude Bourgeois Peterson; his brothers, Jim and Bob; his wife Marion; and also Marla Richardson.

He is survived by : his children, Tammy Thompson (Clark) of Geneva, Thomas (Pam) of Glen Ellyn, Sue (Al Gaston) of Geneva, Dan (Connie) of Glen Ellyn and Sarah Murrell (Derek) of St. Charles; his grandchildren, Kathleen Meeks (Bronco), Braden Thompson (Taylor), Charlie, John, Ally Peterson, Luke and Molly Gaston; his great grandchildren, Skylar and Micah Meeks; and his sister Carol Zuhr of Chicago. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
