He is survived by: his wife Sue (Leonard); his daughters, Katherine Heden (John) of Chicago, Karen Desens (Craig) of Geneva and Laura Dillon (David) of Glenview; his grandchildren, Nathan (Allie), Julian, Katie Desens, D. J. Dillon, Megan Blanco (David) and Madeline Dillon; his brother William (Helen) of North Carolina; and his stepgrandchildren, John (Alicia), David and Kelly Heden (Maggie). He is also survived by relatives and friends.
