It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael D. Acklin of Geneva, Illinois, who passed away on May 10, 2026, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Acklin and Dorothy Acklin (Pech). He is survived by: his wife Karen (Moore); his daughters, Shaya Felix (Chauncey II) of Mississippi, Sophia and Eve of Geneva, Illinois; his granddaughter Zykyria Kendrick; and his siblings, Kathy Lodewegen (late Richard) of Manteno, Susan Wilson (Richard) of Oak Brook, Mark (Sharon) of Mokena, Thomas (late Holly) of Orland Park and Carol Stern (Richard) of Grand Junction, Colorado. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
