She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Haas and Mildred Haas (Goetzinger); and her brother Robert Haas. She is survived by: her husband Robert James of Montana; and her daughters, Linda Lutz (Gary Lindquist), Cynthia Rittenberry (Brion), Denise Miller (Tim), Debra Toth (Charles) and Roberta MacMillan (Darrell). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Vitas Hospice, 580 Waters Edge Lawn, Suite 100, Lombard, Illinois 60137.
