She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Rush and Flossie Rush; her husband Oscar Thompson; her daughters, Barby Kay (Forrest) and Holly Fischer (Steve); and her granddaughter Shannon Bruce (Rob).

She is survived by : her children, Jerry (Anne), Willard, Tim (Lisa) and Sue Brens (George). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers because of Patricia's love for animals, especially dogs – please make a donation in her memory to the Anderson Animal Shelter in South Elgin, IL or to Tails in DeKalb, IL.
