He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Rizzo and Jane Connolly Rizzo; and his stepmother Marilyn Rizzo. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen (Mulhern); his children, Regina Buczynski (Bart), Margaret Velisek (Daniel) and Joseph Rizzo; his grandchildren, Jacob, Nora Buczynski and Eleanor Velisek; and his siblings, Mike Rizzo, Jayne Reardon (Mike), Theresa Brooks (John) and Laura Rizzo. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Church (1891 Kaneville Rd, Geneva, IL 60134).
