It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert V. Fitzsimmons Sr. (Geneva, Illinois), who passed away on June 23, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Fitzsimmons and Sophie Fitzsimmons (Strack); his brother Harold Fitzsimmons Jr.; and his wife Sheila E Fitzsimmons (O'Connell). He is survived by : his siblings, William Fitzsimmons (Bill) and Mary Ann Muehlbach (Fitzsimmons); his children, Lori Soglin (David) of Evanston, Robert Fitzsimmons II (Sheila M. Hughes) of Geneva and Jeanne Fitzsimmons of Chicago; his grandchildren, Robb (Laura), Matt, Christian, Tess Fitzsimmons, Brady, Emma and Andy Soglin; and his child Marwa Adam.
