Shirley Anne Scheller Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on December 9, 2025, at the age of 89, Shirley Anne Scheller of Geneva, Illinois, born in Dubuque, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas and Frances; her siblings, Andrew McGrath, Sharon, John Koch, Ann McGrath, Judy, Ambrose Scheller, Janet Scattarelli, Katie Remakel and Katianne Lierman; and her goddaughter Lynn Scheller.

She is survived by: her husband Merlin A. Scheller; her grandchildren, Mariah Picarsic (Ron), Meghan Buchanan (Ryan), Liam Rettenmeier, Mallory Rettenmeier (Jeffrey Robson) and Timothy Scheller; her great grandchildren, Meredith, Elliot, Isaac Buchanan, Reese and Ryder Picarsic; her siblings, Lloyd McGrath, Rosemary Remakel (Tom) and Mary Sue Leifker (Dave); and her goddaughters, Teri Becker, Angela Hatch, Kimberly Leifker, Lynn Gerardy and Kristina Koch. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many other extended family members and friends.
