She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Scharnweber and Carolyn Scharnweber; and her nephew Charles Scharnwber (Charlie). She is survived by: her husband Greg Wicklund; her niece Jodi Rhodes (Buddy Johnson); her great-niece Carly Tuggle (Mitch); her great-nephew Adkin Rhodes (Jessica Wade); her brothers, Steven Scharnweber (Anne Pruitt) and Greg Scharnweber; her siblings-in-law, Diane Van Bavel, Leslee Kraft (Peter) and Scott Wicklund (Karen); her niece Annie Kraft (Zack Carlson); and her nephew Sam Kraft (Katie).
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Malone Funeral Home (324 E State St, Geneva, IL 60134). A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Susan's memory to Anderson Animal Shelter, an organization that supports the animals she loved so dearly.
