He was predeceased by: his mother Barbara (Fetterolf). He is survived by: his children, Michael Russell (Teresa) and Jennifer Dynek; his grandchildren, Daniel, Taylor, Justin Russell, Alexander and Dakota Dynek; and his sisters, Linda Miquelon and Cindy Carlson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in his name to Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital Cancer Center, DeKalb.
