She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin S. Hixson and Eunice Hixson (Sutor); her spouse Glenn W. Means; and her siblings, Kathryn Geehring, Zetta Ottenberg, Jack Hixson, Erma Strombeck, Ray Hixson and Janet Kimmel.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Means (Mike Walsh), Jackie Evers (Joe) and Geoff Means (Amy Stevens); her grandchildren, Logan Panjkovich, Bailey Panjkovich (Tristan Pous-Ojeda), Lizzie Lambert (JJ), Matt Evers, Andy Evers (Luana Faria) and Chelsea Reid (Ian); her great grandchildren, Chase Pous-Panjkovich and Ryder Pous-Ojeda; and her sister Rita Ottenberg.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Slater-Butala Funeral Home (132 W Main St, Genoa, IL 60135). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
