She was predeceased by: her father Harry Black; and her pets, Brandy and Bella. She is survived by: her mother Glenda Frost (Crowe); her husband Chuck Berndt; and her children, Rebecca Berndt of Genoa, IL., Will Berndt of Genoa, IL. and Tim Black.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Butala Funeral Home (1405 Dekalb Ave, Sycamore, IL 60178). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Roselawn Cemetery.
