The memory of Nancy L Emmer of Genoa, Illinois, who passed away on July 14, 2025 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie E. and Ingaborg Miller (Sjurseth); her husband Dennis; her son Richard Groesser; and her siblings, Raymond, Richard, Alvin, Bill, Clara, Shirley and Marge.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Jones (Gary) of Indiana, Patricia Davis (Glen) of Michigan and Victoria Russell (David) of Hampshire; her stepchildren, Peter Emmer (Alex) of Kansas and Sarah Elizabeth of Indiana; her grandchildren, Asheal (Katie), Glenna, Stacy (Scott), Dustin, Ashley (Nick), Clarissa (Jared), Chelsey (Matt), Jacob, Ella, Mark, Cody, Crystal and Andrew; her brother Charlie Miller (Linda) of Arizona; and her sister-in-law Lorraine Miller. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cooper-Quiram Chapel (202 E Main St, Genoa, IL 60135).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in her name to Zion Lutheran Church, Elgin.
