He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Lamar and Angeline Lamar (Jordan); his siblings, John Lamar, Margaret Becker and Mary Lewis; his son-in-law Randy Jackson; and his grandson Reece Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lamar (Wilfong); his children, Kim Jackson, Jennifer Lopinski (Robert) and Rick Lamar (Vanda); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Cooley (Terry), Niki Jackson (Jay Schlosser), Lucas Lamar (Katie), Jacob Jackson (Magdalena), Lauren Doll (Joe), Kane Lopinski (Michelle) and Kristin Gray (Jack); and his sisters, Dorothy Holman, Betty Beck, Deana Powell (Ralph) and Sandy Drollinger. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Houghton-Leasure Chapel (200 E West St, Georgetown, IL 61846). A burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Georgetown Cemetery. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at the Houghton-Leasure Chapel (200 E West St, Georgetown, IL 61846).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a veteran's organization.
