It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Daughenbaugh of Georgetown, Illinois, who passed away on March 12, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jubal Daughenbaugh and Novella Miller Daughenbaugh. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Daughenbaugh; his children, Susan Bruns (Bill) of Williamsport, JB Daughenbaugh (Cherie) of Gibson City and Scott Daughenbaugh (Stephanie) of Fithian, Illinois.; his grandchildren, Clayton Hawkins (Jordyn), Macey Dalbey (Dylan) and Nathan Daughenbaugh; and his great grandchildren, Parker Hawkins and Crew Dalbey.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Alzheimer's research.
