With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Herman Rex Cobble II (Georgetown, Illinois), born in Danville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 28, 2025 at the age of 63. He was predeceased by: his father Herman Rex Cobble I; and his father-in-law Charles Urban. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Cobble (Urban); his children, Joseph Cobble (Windy) of Woodbine, GA, Christopher Cobble (Brook) of Catlin, IL, Kari Rosa (Jason) of Dayton, NV, Jacob Cobble of Olivet, IL and Kyle Cobble (Amanda) of Georgetown, IL.; his grandchildren, Mariya Blue, Skye, Jaxon, Allyson, Coleton, Jordan, Savannah, Briella, Naomi, Dillen, Lincoln and Harper Cobble; his mother Martha Cobble (Butler); his sisters, Paula Ray, Pamela Blue and Patricia Cobble; and his mother-in-law Doris Urban. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center (200 E West St, Georgetown, IL 61846). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at the Forest Park Cemetery.
