He is survived by: his son Luke Paxton (Ashley Boen); his nephews, Dylan Bina and Jace Bina; his godsons, Ryan Rummel (Abbey) and Jason Rummel (Bree); his grandchildren, Ashton Pilkington, Keely Paxton, Kole Paxton, Knoll Paxton, Wren Paxton, Lane Paxton, Owen Parker Mariage-Tucker, Aryann Rummel, Lawson Rummel, Sloane Rummel and Louise "LuLu" Bina; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Quentin Bina, Ethan Bina and Preslee Bina; his siblings, Judy Bruce (Jim) and Chuck Paxton; and his close friends, Karen Rummel, Steve Beresford, Butch Fullen (Tracy), Jackie Knight, Bruce Capello and Jessi Biggs.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center (200 E West St, Georgetown, IL 61846). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
