With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dean A. Smith of Germantown Hills, Illinois, born in DeLand, Illinois, who passed away on February 24, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence G. Smith and Anora Smith (Lubers); and his wife Patricia Sprague. He is survived by : his sons, Jeff Smith of Germantown Hills, IL and Rick Smith (Patricia Shackelford) of Peoria, IL. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
