It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Laura E. Wuebbels of Germantown, Illinois, who passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman F. Robke and Josephine A. Robke; her husband Wilbert B. "Cotton" Wuebbels; her daughter Colette Wuebbels; her siblings, Paul Robke (Dorothy), Pete Robke (Marcella "Nordy"), Raymond Robke, Amanda Kohnen (Vince), Adella (Vic Wuebbels) and Rose Mary Robke; her parents-in-law, Frank and Josephine Wuebbels; and her siblings-in-law, Alois Wuebbels (Leona), Frank Wuebbels (Marie), Melvin Wuebbels (Francelia), Alvin Wuebbels (Frances), Jean Pflugmacher (Gus), Ella (Ed Hammel) and Leona Wuebbels.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Unterreiner (Ron) of Kirkwood, MO, Marvin Wuebbels (Robbie) of Carlyle and Jeff Wuebbels (Karen) of Germantown; and her grandchildren, Courtney Ghosh (Sumi), Kari Baker (David), Ryan Unterreiner (Emmy), Aaron Unterreiner (Amanda Saunders), Michelle Tomazzoli (Sean), Melissa Grapperhaus (David), Josh Wuebbels (Mandy), Danielle Koerkenmeier, Trisha Cross (Cory) and Dewal Wuebbels (Allyssa Kliene). She is also survived by twenty-four great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Boniface Catholic Church (306 Munster St, Germantown, IL 62245).
In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to St. Boniface Cemetery or Germantown Historical Society and will be received at the Mass or by mail at Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th St., Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
