He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent and Catherine; his sons, Michael, Gary and Nathan Albers; his parents-in-law, Frank and Laura Hustedde; his siblings, Gertrude Becker (Lawrence), Adele Albers, Elizabeth Haake (Clarence), Dolores Lampe (August), Vincent Albers (Ethel) and Harold Albers; and his siblings-in-law, Virgil Gebke, Mary Ann Peek (Henry), Monica Boeckmann (Charles), Francis Hustedde, Robert Hustedde, Herbert Hustedde and Joseph Hustedde.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Albers of Dominic's Catholic Church; his children, Janice Hellmann (Larry) of Germantown, Marlene Fields (Mike) of Germantown, Dale Albers (Geralyn) of Germantown, Wayne Albers (Vicky) of Germantown and Michelle Dixon (Jimmy) of Orlando, Florida; his grandchildren, Nathan Dierkes (Sara), Katie Loepker (Patrick), Lacey Venhaus (Aaron), Kristen Fuehne (Nick), Austin Fields (Alexis), Kamron Dixon (Allie), Matthew Albers (Jamie Alexander), Maggie Kroes (Rhys), Brianne Hellmann, Vivian Albers (Easton Underwood), Abigail Hellmann (Marshall Moore), Kimora Ford (Patrick) and Patrick Albers; his stepgranddaughter Korie Dixon; his great grandchildren, Isabella, Rylee, Lacey, Brynlee Dierkes, Louis, Jack, Andy Venhaus, Brooks, Sawyer Fuehne, Dorothy, Alice Loepker, Kayden and Karter Dixon; his stepgranddaughter Kennedy Dixon; his sister Marie Gebke of Germantown; and his siblings-in-law, Rose Rehkemper (Francis) of Breese, Anthony "Butch" Hustedde of Breese, Carol Hustedde of Breese and Dorothy Showalter (Gerald) of O'Fallon.
In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to Mather Dei Catholic High School, St. Boniface Parish, St. Vincent de Paul, or Cedarhurst Activity Fund and will be received at the visitation or by mail at Moss Funeral Home, PO Box 117 Germantown, IL 62245, who is serving the family.
