He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry J. Christensen and Emelia S. Hovick Christensen; and his sister Ruth Surber. He is survived by: his mother-in-law Virginia L. Finch; his wife Virginia Christensen of Gibson City; his children, Vicki Kennedy (Bob) of Arrowsmith, Michael Christensen (Brenda) of Bloomfield and Jeff Christensen (Joanne Pezza) of Colleyville, Texas.; his grandchildren, Chad Christensen (Danielle), Corey Christensen, Tara Gawthorp (Chuck), Christopher Wade Kennedy (Kelly), Jennifer Kennedy, Joshua Christensen, Jacob Christensen (Brooke) and Jordan Christensen; and his siblings, Robert Christensen of Aurora, Dale Christensen of Libertyville and Clarice Ward of Normal.
