With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ella E. Tice of Gibson City, Illinois, who passed away on February 1, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ulen Rainwater and Eva Holt Rainwater; her daughter Karen Bode; and her siblings, Barbara Trowbridge and Vernon Rainwater.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Tice of Gibson City; her son Daniel Tice (Jackie) of Gibson City; her grandchildren, Heather Bode of Gibson City, Ashley Richardson (Kyle) of Fort Worth and Nick Bode (Rebecca Ray) of Champaign; her son-in-law Jim Bode of Gibson City; and her sister Carolyn Schaefer of Colfax.
