As we bid adieu to Leon's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Leon has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chris Rocker and Anna Rocker (Osterbur). He is survived by: his sisters, Eileen Owens (Kenny) of Howard, CO, Pauline Clements (Mike) of St. Joseph, IL, Lois Forster of Chevy Chase, MD and Patricia Evans (Terry) of Mahomet, IL.. He is also survived by three nephews and two nieces, and many great and great-great nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church (313 S Prospect Ave, Champaign, IL 61820). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in Leon's name to Grace Lutheran Church, Country Health Care & Rehab, or the Carle Hospice program at Carle Health Care Philanthropy.
