Janet Bailey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Bailey of Gilberts, Illinois, who passed away on October 13, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Richard L.; her husband Ray Bailey; and her siblings, Martin L. "Mart", Joseph Schumacher and Margaret Love.
She is survived by: her children, William Bailey (Stacy), Jake Bailey and Aileen "Lena" Edwards (Jesse); her grandchildren, Leo, Eli, Jamie and Cameron; and her siblings, Richard II (Kate), Kurt (Janet), Karl (Sue), Roy (Jenny), Matthew (Annette), Franz (Laura), Ruth Ann, Mary Ann Schumacher and Marilyn Zickur. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews; and countless cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran (377 Galligan Rd, Gilberts, IL 60136).
