It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred E Vaniter of Gillespie, Illinois, born in Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on June 19, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Bobby Vaniter and Flossie Evans Vaniter; and his sister Beverly Rawlings. He is survived by : his wife Rhoda Vaniter of Gillespie; his children, LeAnn Wilson (Greg) of Litchfield, IL, RoiLynn McClanahan (Rich Ferguson) of Springfield, IL, Dawn McDaniel (J. J.) of Gillespie, IL, Michelle Whaley (Chad) of Gillespie, IL, Damon Claussen (Sandy) of Iowa and Kerry Claussen (Colette) of Gillespie, IL; and his sisters, Sharon Odell (Robert) of Manchester, IL and Karen Woods (James) of Murrayville, IL. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.
