Chesley will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Chesley by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Chesley is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Chesley’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Blevins and Betty Cranford Blevins; his daughter Angela Blevins; and his brother Bobby Blevins. He is survived by: his sons, David Blevins (Misty) of Gillespie, IL, Kenny Blevins (Manilyn) of Madison, AL and Joseph Blevins (Judith) of Gillespie, IL. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 6 siblings.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 5:00 PM at 811 E Wilson Ave, Gillespie, IL 62033. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Crabtree Cemetery (10214 Crabtree Trail, Litchfield, IL 62056).
