He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul P. Koniak and Mary Belle Koniak; his wife Alice E. Koniak (Eller); his son Francis L. Koniak, Jr.; and his brothers, James, Robert and Paul.
He is survived by: his children, Yvonne Koniak-Cagle (John) of Eolia, MO, Thomas L. Koniak (Terry) of Gillespie, IL and Dianne Baum (Koniak) of Gillespie, IL; his siblings, Bill Koniak (Pat) of Godfrey, IL and Rosemarie Salovich of Gillespie, IL; and his sisters-in-law, Pat Koniak of Sawyerville, IL and Judy Koniak of Gillespie, IL. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
