He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Palmer and Myrna Cleeton Palmer; and his siblings, Albert Palmer, Eva Palmer, Lena Hampton, Gloria Moyer, Bernice Thomas, Pauline Coatney, Arline Hopper and Dorothy Hubbard.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lorraine Bivin and Richard Palmer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
