It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Lynn McNew of Gilman, Illinois, who passed away on May 2, 2026, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lemuel McDonald and Madonna Flesner McDonald; her daughter Rachael Garren; and her siblings, Cindy McDonald and Mark McDonald.
She is survived by: her husband Chris McNew; her daughter Korey Keenan of Mahomet; her stepchildren, Jason McNew (Laura) of Grants Pass and Krisana McNew (Nate Frary) of Windsor, Colorado; and her grandchildren, Emma Keenan, Kailey Garren, Keaton Garren, Kale Frary, Carter Frary, Addy Frary and Isiah McNew.
