He is survived by: his child Thomas Kunka (Kasey M. Stewart); his grandchild Ianna Kunka; his sister Frances DeSando (John); his nieces and nephews, John (Sharon), Paul and Andrea (Eileen); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ashley, Sydney and Camryn; his close friends, David and Beth Adams; and also Shirley Kunka.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Richard J Modell Funeral Home & Cremation Services (12641 W 143rd St, Homer Glen, IL 60491). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (7200 Archer Rd, Justice, IL 60458).
