We are sad to announce that on May 6, 2022, at the age of 65, William A. Garoutte of Gilson, Illinois, born in Galesburg, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John O. Garoutte and Helen Malone Garoutte (Pullen); and his sister Joyce Stogdill. He is survived by: his wife Susan E. Palmer of Gilson, Illinois; his sons, William "Cody" Garoutte (Jennifer) of Fort Stewart and John H. Garoutte of Panama City, Florida; his grandchildren, Aadriannah, Braedyn, Tristan, Harrison and Colton; his siblings, Jeanne Flowers of Knoxville, Kay Walter (Tom) of Knoxville, Jo Ann Walker of Fort Worth, Texas and David Malone (Brenda) of Knoxville, Illinois; his aunt Mary Cecil of Galesburg, Illinois; and his brother-in-law Dan Stogdill of Knoxville.
